Seljalandsfoss waterfall

This picturesque waterfall faces the traffic heading along the Ring road of Iceland. It's narrow and falls off a cliff above a cavern. It's quite easy to walk up to the base of the waterfall and behind it along a pathway inside the cavern.

Skógafoss waterfall

This mighty waterfall is one of Iceland’s biggest waterfalls towering 60 meters high (197 ft.) and 25 meters (82 ft.) wide. By the waterfall you can visit Skogar folk museum to get a better insight into the life of Icelanders throughout history in the southern region.

Cape Dyrhólaey

Cape Dyrholaey gives you astonishing view of the big glacier Mýrdalsjökull, the black sand beaches, the splashing waves of the Atlantic and the black lava columns, Reynisdrangar. This attraction is also known for it's puffin colony.

Black sand beach Reynisfjara

Reynisfjara is better known as the Black sand beach. There you will find a scenic basalt columnar wall stretching into the beach with splashing waves from the Atlantic.

Lava exhibitions

We offer an optional stop at the Lava Centre in Hvolsvöllur and the Icelandic Lava show in Vík. Lava center is an interactive and high-tech educational exhibition depicting volcanic activity, earthquakes and the creation of Iceland over millions of years. The Icelandic Lava show recreates a volcano eruption, similar to what Eyjafjallajökull and Katla volcano are famous for, by pouring molten lava into a room full of people.
